Not A Shopaholic

Hat Yai, Thailand  has opened it’s very first Starbucks outlet the other week. It’s located at the ground floor of Odean shopping mall. As with any Starbucks outlet,  the shop is brimming with customers ranging from tourists to local young professionals and professionals alike.

Last week, I got an opportunity to visit and grabbed a glass of  iced caffe’ mocha. I originally wanted to have my favorite java chip frappuccino  but they didn’t have any frapuccino’s in their menu yet. Maybe it’s because it was just a few days since they were opened and they didn’t have a complete range of products available yet.  Anyways, the iced caffe’ mocha was good but I still prefer my fave frappuccino. Hopefully, next time I could already get one.

I see a few bloggers from my FB group who are into web designing. They make cute design templates for the blogs and I once thought of learning how to do the designing myself. But later on, I found out that it does take a lot of time doing it (especially  for beginners) and so, I stopped being curious with it and just settle for the free pre-made templates that I find online. But maybe if there are online design tools available, it’s easier to create these design templates. Maybe, if I have more time next time I’ll have to try it myself.

I just baked a birthday cake for  a couple friend of ours. Their birthday falls on the same month and so our church celebrated their birthdays after the service. This is the cake I made. It’s summer time here so I thought of the sunflower. I made the cake blue so, it won’t be too girly girly. Hopefully, I made it in such a way that can celebrate both birthdays together.
