French, Anyone?

French is one very interesting language but way back in my university days, I was more interested with the German language than French. I guess it was easier too.

Well, here are some french words and their translation; bourse which means grant , calcul pret immobilier which means counting pret property and assurance décès which means, insurance decease. These are just the literal meanings though.

Busy Days

I’m quite busy these days.. I mean, my mind is busy thinking of the things that I have to do; write articles for my online job, prepare the book for our Kids English Summer workshop next week, house chores, house chores and more house chores.  I’m even quite guilty already because I’ve been allowing my kids to watch a lot of cartoons in DVD just so I can have a lot of time to do my work. Not good huh.. that’s why I’m just in a rush to finish all my work so that I can do more of my house work and spend more time with my kids.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I had a list of things I wished to buy in Cameron Highlands. But unfortunately,we were not able to go out from the conference. We did go out to go to the Strawberry park but then it was already closed when we got there. There was a night market at that time but it was drizzling. So, I just asked my Hubby to buy some strawberries, chocolate covered strawberries and strawberry Popsicle. And wow they were so yum!!  Never mind if I didn’t get to buy the tea, coffee and cacti.. tasting their yummy delicacy was already more than enough. Now, I miss Cameron.. I miss the cold weather..and the chocolate covered  strawberries….

Beauty Tips in YouTube

I found some beauty and make up tips video in Youtube. I haven’t watched all of them yet but I’m planning to watch them whenever I have the time. I don’t have much beauty and make up techniques and it’ll be nice to know of a few. I actually have this problem with my under eyes. It’s always deep and dark ( due to sleeping late) no matter how I put make up on them. I think I also have to check www.wrinkleeyecream.org since I also see a few wrinkles near my eyes too.

Body Pain

I’ve been having body pain for 2 days. It must be because of our long road travel where I was just sitting for more than 9 hours. But praise God that I’ve been relieved of the pain now. I didn’t go for massage nor applied any cream like msm cream but it just disappeared. But it would be nice to a get a whole body massage too. I’ve actually been wanting to have one for many days now. I didn’t use to like massages, I find it quite expensive when I don’t experience terrible pain. But somehow, it’s a good way to relax and de stress.

Healthy Mart

There is one Healthy Mart here in Hatyai and I visited it the other week when I was looking for brown rice porridge, rice puffs and rice oats that I was supposed to use for my Harcombe diet. Unfortunately, I didn’t find those items in the shop. And I never pushed through with my Harcombe diet.

Anyways, it’ll be nice to see what else they have there in the shop. I was so much in a hurry when I went there the other week, that I didn’t get much chance to browse around. I did see some colon cleansing products and other organic food.

Eating Out

I love to eat out. This has become one of our favorite family activities when I was younger and I have now introduced it to my family too. If it’s not too expensive to eat out regularly, I would have to choose that over eating my own home cooked meals. :)

But because of practicality, I have to cook our own meals and eat out less. But I guess eating out also has a lot of downsides apart from the costs, it also triggers me to eat more than I can take and also drink a lot of sodas. You know, it’s always nice to drink coke when you eat out. Well, that’s true for me. Maybe I do have a problem with my appetite, it’s like I have an appetite for every food I see. I better check out an appetite suppressant review and see it this will work for me.

Our Chubby Boy

We have a chubby little boy. He is so meaty and chubby that sometimes I get so surprise that even strangers we meet in the shopping malls ‘secretly’ pinch his cheeks or arms. I’m not really offended when other people do this because sometimes I also feel like doing that to other kids but just restrain myself from doing so. But anyways, most of the people who do this are quite friendly, they smile at us, try to play with our boy and only then they do their ‘secret’ pinching.

Our boy has already been chubby and meaty since he was born. I remember that I noticed his puffed up chest when the Doctor showed him to me at the operating room. I remember taking the best prenatal vitamins when I was pregnant with him but I’m sure that’s the the cause but he is just born with a big built.

Anyways, I also hope that my li’l girl will also be a bit chubby like my boy. I’m really working hard on that but she’s just a very picky eater.

New Handphone

My Hubby’s phone died when we were in Malaysia. We don’t know the reason of its ‘death’ but all we know is that it’s time for us to buy a new phone. Actually most of the phones that my Hubby had were given to him as gifts from our friends. I can’t remember buying ourselves our own phones. It’s such a blessing huh? PTL!

And today, I also decided to blessed my Hubby with a new phone using my blogging money. :) It took us quite some time to decide which phone to buy. Originally, my Hubby only wanted the basic phone. Something that’s just used to send sms and call. Phones like that can cost from 700 – 1,000 Baht. But as we looked at all the other phones, we also saw some cheaper phones that have all the other features like TV, MP3, dual SIM and Camera. The price? 2,600 Baht for this kind of phone.  It’s an i-mobile phone, one of the known brand here in Thailand. It’s indeed much cheaper than Nokia plus they have their own service centers everywhere. And by the way, I was finally able to use my Carrefour discount voucher of 180 Baht. So, we also paid less than the original price.

So, here is how my Hubby’s phone looks like

I think it’s really a good buy! Now my Hubby is enjoying tinkering his phone and watching some shows in his mini TV. :)

Reject Shop

We were in Jusco ( Bukit Raja) the other day to look for textbooks to be used in our center when we saw the Reject Shop. I remember that this shop is like the “Surplus Shop” in Philippines and thought of going inside there and see what they have  since they had an ongoing sale.

I was delighted to see their children’s clothes on sale and decided to buy some for our li’l ones. I found their clothes in the shop of very good quality. I’ve also seen some famous brands such as Gap, Polo, Tommy and etc. with the ongoing sale, their price really turn out to be cheap.

It’s just so nice to stay there and shop till I drop but then, our budget is just so limited. But I’m already so happy to buy 2 shirts each for my boy and girl, 3 panties for my li’l girl and another infant suit to be given to our friend. And all these , I only spent 57 RM. It’s quite a good deal huh? If I were in some other shops, 57 RM can only buy 2 shirts.

Anyways, Malaysia really has a lot of shops and retails stores to choose from. I’m sure they also have specialty shops that sells personalized soccer balls .
