Diet Supplements

I never knew that there are also vitamins and supplements that I aid to weight loss like the L- carnitine, L-glutamine, amino acids and etc. Some of these can be found naturally in food or plant sources and won’t have side effects. I’ve always thought that all the diet tablets are pills are plain chemicals and are not found naturally in food and plant sources. I guess,  pills like alli fall into the second category and are a bit dangerous to take since one may also experience side effects. These kinds of  medicine are especially formulated  for obese people so, it’s not advisable for people who only have a few pounds to lose to take them.

It has been raining here for 2 days now. Does that mean, the summer season is over? I’m quite thankful that at least the weather is cooler now.  Summer was just soo hot and too uncomfortable. I could remember last month when I needed to turn on both the ceiling fan and stand fan to keep us cool.  But then, I can’t help but worry of  the flooding in our kitchen as what our new neighbors told us. I do hope that our kitchen won’t flood if the rain is heavy and non stop.

My Hubby drove  to the border yesterday to do some transactions and came back the same day. When he was there, there were a few check points in which he had to passed. He forgot to unload some of the things from the trunk here in the house itself, so all the kids arm floats, life jackets , picnic blanket,  ring and etc were still there. When the police opened the trunk, he couldn’t help but exclaim, ” Wow! So colorful!” ( in Malay). LOL!

Anyways, it’s good that the police officer was in a good mood because sometimes they give a hard time to those passing through the border using a Thai car. This reminds me to check on some auto insurance quotes since we’re planning to have future road trips to Malaysia.
