Not A Shopaholic

Our doorknobs and handlesets are broken again. This is the 2nd time in which they got broken. The first time was even scary because our daughter and one of our neighbor’s child were locked in. No matter how we tried to turn and twist the door knob, it just refused to be open. Even our daughter tried with all her might to open it from the inside but the knob didn’t budge. So Hubby had to break the knob and detached it from the door. It’s good that our daughter and friend didn’t panic and continued to play inside and read books.

After that experience, Hubby replaced the door knob but just a few weeks they were installed it was broken again. Even the door knob in our toilet door is also broken. I’m not sure if the door knobs we’re buying are of low quality or the way they’re installed are not correct.

We will have to buy newer sets again. And hopefully this time they will last long.

There are a lot of contests and giveaways going on in the blogosphere as of this moment. Some of these are easy to join while others are not. For the past months, I haven’t been so actively participating in these contests. Oh, how I miss the excitement and the thrill of joining. It’s a great feeling to keep watch over and contest and find out if you’re a winner or not.

I’ve won a few contests myself and it’s so cool to get prizes and freebies. Maybe I’ll have to make time to participate again. Who knows I might win some of my dream prizes such as cruises to Bermuda or a free travel package to Greece!

As a part of their Chinese New Year celebrations, Tesco Lotus is currently having CNY promotion. They give our 60 Baht coupons for every 600 Baht worth of purchase.

It was so timely because today we went to Tesco for our monthly groceries. Our total purchase was more than 3,000 Baht. So, we got five 60 Baht coupons. That means the next time we purchase at Tesco, we will be able to use the coupons and save 300 Baht. That’s really a great deal huh! That’s really why I just really love their free coupons.

That leaves me thinking, what would I buy with my 300 Baht worth of coupons? I definitely cannot buy a mattress with such amount. Hmm.. maybe, I’ll just buy some food stuff then.
