LED 3D TVs

Whenever we shop at Tesco, we can’t help but pause for a few minutes and get amazed with their huge LED TVs. These TVs seems like they have a magnet which really pulls people in their direction.

Well, who won’t be attracted with 50 plus inches crystal clear TVs? Looking at their Home Theater displays makes me wonder how it feels like to have those at home. It’s not that I watch TV a lot but most of the nights, Hubby and I watch the Aljazeera news or Asian Food Channel after putting our kids to sleep. If we have a home theater, I guess we will have more frequent movie nights. But I guess the more our kids will be glued in the tube. Tsk..tsk.. Never mind then. I won’t dream of these huge TVs anymore. LOL!

Cartridges No More

It’s quite a ‘trend’ here in Thailand not to use cartridges in the printers anymore. The colored inks are now in mini ‘tanks’ that are attached beside the printers. Installation plus the inks would amount to about 1,000-2,000 Baht but the inks are so much that maybe it’ll last for years.

Well, Hubby just bought this kind of ink for our printer. But I guess the problem now is that some printer brands don’t support this kind of ‘inks’. So now, we’re having problems with our printer. It gives us an error ‘ unrecognizable ink’ , everytime we print a document. :( This printer has a scanner, photocopier too. So, now we have to avail a document scanning services everytime we need to have our documents scanned and printed.

Lesson for the day: It’s always better to buy the original parts ( cartridges) , though they may be more expensive but then your gadgets will last longer.

Carrefour is having one of their biggest raffle draw this year. It’s with a grand prize of 1.4 Million Baht. Every customer is entitled 1 raffle ticket for every purchase of 600 Baht worth of groceries.

We haven’t won a single raffle draw in our lives. We know that the chance for us to win is so slim since there will be hundreds of thousands of raffle tickets to be drawn. Sometimes we wonder whether its worth giving our time in filling up the tickets. But it’s okay, there’s no harm in trying too, right? Who knows, God will give us such blessings to let others be blessed through us!:0
