Not A Shopaholic

Oh, the world is in such chaos and turmoil right now, with the unrest of the Middle East and other parts of the world. Just last night, I also learned about the dispute between the Thai and Cambodian military at the border. There’s just so many things happening locally and internationally.

Many people are actually concerned that maybe the world is already coming to an end. And it’s true, according to the Bible we are on our last days. Since there are wars and rumors of wars, people seek for protection even to the point of hiring guards or security forces like that of Luke Hillier. As for us, we can’t afford to hire our own security or army to protect us. We just pray and trust God for protection. We are also not overly concerned if the world is coming to an end for we await the better Future that God has instore for us.

Our daughter has this appointment with the dentist that has long been forgotten. She was supposed to go and visit last February. The dental clinic usually calls her before the appointed day but I was wondering why they never called that time. They didn’t have an appointment card and I also forgot the date and time of her appointment. So, I kinda waited for their call which actually never came. And I somehow forgot about it.

Now, that I’m reminded of this long forgotten appointment, I will make sure that I’ll get to call them today and ask for another appointment. My daughter actually likes going to this dental clinic. It’s a clinic that’s very child friendly with a play area and colorful interiors. The dentists and their assistants sometimes wear pastel colored Skecher scrubs. I wonder where they buy their Workwear scrubs. I don’t see a lot of shops with discount nursing uniforms here in the city.

Anyways, I hope it’s not too late for our girl to go to the dentist this week. She’s actually wearing like a single brace on one of the teeth and this has to be adjusted twice a year as her teeth grows.
