Shabuji is one of the Japanese restaurants here in Hat yai. We seldom come here since it’s a buffet restaurant. But just last week, when we dined in this resto, we found out that they have a promotion. Each Shabuji member is given a card with boxes from number 1-24. Every 500 Baht worth of meal will entitle you one sticker. And guess what they will give away once you complete the box?.. and iPad 2!!.. But how to complete the 24 boxes? That’s the big question. But since we have friends and guests coming over, we will try to bring them to Shabuji and try to complete the 24 boxes until the 31st of December.

Any by the way, we already have 5 stickers in our card… we brought our team there the other night, that’s why.. ;)

My Upcoming Birthday

I will be celebrating my birthday in a few weeks time. Oh, we’re not having a party or a grand celebration. In fact, we haven’t planned out for my birthday yet. But if ever we plan a celebration, I’m sure it will just be a simple dinner with a few friends. No complicated preparations or elegant birthday invitations ( like wedding invitations).

My birthday last year was memorable for me too. Hubby actually surprised me and let me have a full body spa. Oh, I really felt like a queen on my birthday. For this year, we’ll see if I have any surprises.. :)

The Newly Renovated Big C

2011

It has been months since we last shopped at Big C.  With Big C Extra ( formerly Carrefour) near our house, we seems not to have shopped anywhere else. So, this evening after eating out for dinner, we thought it was still to early to go home so we thought of taking a look at Big C. When we arrived, we were surprised that it has been renovated and it really looked more spacious now. Aside from that, there are new food outlets and shops both in the ground floor and second floor. There’s one area with all small shops selling anything from hip hop clothing to remote controlled cars. Chester’s Grill, S & P, Mr. Bun, Watson’s and Boots outlets have also been added.

I find the newly renovated Big C, better and nicer. I think we will have to shop there more often. :)
