Not A Shopaholic

We have a friend who owns a pharmacy. So, whenever we have some minor ailments or are sick, we usually go to her first before going to the clinic. We are so comfortable in going to her first because she speaks fluent English and therefore we can completely understand about the medicine that she’s giving us, the treatment, side effects and such. I’m sure she’s also knowledgeable on the current medicine that have been recalled or pull out from the market just like the Actos lawsuit . Our kids on the other hand like it when we visit her pharmacy,they get all these chewable vitamins all for free.

Yipee! We have a new juice extractor. I was so excited when we bought this appliance since I know that we’re buying something to invest on our health. And true enough, ever since we bought this juicer, we’ve been treating ourselves with vegetable and fruit juices. What’s even more wonderful was the fact that we bought this juicer at a 50% discount! Yes.. And since it’s a Philips brand, we know that it’s durable and of good quality. Horray for our juicer!:)

I’ve been hearing about  auction sales online . I really haven’t tried doing one yet but I’m quite curious as to how it goes. I’ve even heard of some people who get  addicted to auction sales and they just keep on bidding until they realized that they already bought the item at such a high price. I guess it’s because of the thrill in winning a bid and they end up forgetting the price of the item. Anyways, there are so many auction sites now, from 2nd hand items to cigar auction online . Maybe next time I’ll try to do auction sales at ebay first.
