I miss many things in our home country—one of them is getting beauty treatments at a very fair price. It would be very common to see beauticians do home service, too. I would definitely get a make over when I go home this Christmas.

It is a fact that more and more people are into the beauty business. In fact, if you go to any city, you would easily find beauty salons in almost every street. The most famous salons have experts trained at cosmetology schools.

There is something so good about getting a beauty treatment. A manicure or a hair treatment, for example, would be something some hard working women would reward themselves after a long week. And who would not want to be appreciated for a new look?

I always love to read inspiring stories of people doing something special for someone. My cousin’s drive to send a thousand postcards from all over the world  for her friend suffering from cancer is one of these. Her friend is just confined on her bed and will not be able to travel until a miracle happens in her life. For the meantime, letting her travel in a world of postcards is a good idea. I’m sure she will be happy to receive the postcards and words of encouragement too. I just sent her a postcard last Monday and I hope that’ll bring a smile on her face. Last September 16th was the opening of the 2nd Tesco Lotus branch in Hatyai, Hat Yai Nai district near the south van terminal. This mall opens at 6 am and closes at 9 am. The first Tesco Lotus branch in front the PSU hospital operates from 9am to 11pm.

We haven’t been to the new Tesco Lotus yet since it’s a bit far from our house. If we need to buy anything there’s always Big C extra that is just 5 minutes from our house. But maybe one of these days we have to go and take a lot at the new Tesco Lotus.
