Medical Check Up

2011

We’re here in Malaysia right now for renewal of our papers and partly for Hubby’s medical check up. With a Malaysian insurance, we find it better to be checked here in Malaysia, so we don’t have to pay anything. If we get hospitalized in Thailand, our insurance can still cover us but we have to pay first and then we get refunded after a couple of months. We find this system of a hassle so that’s why we try to refrain from being hospitalized in Thailand.

There’s really nothing so serious about Hubby’s condition but we find it best for him to have some kind of general check up. I think he hasn’t been on one for a few years now too. It’s good to have his blood sugar checked, cholesterol level among other things. It’s good that we could go to a good hospital with reputable doctors because I’ve heard a lot of cases these days where people look for actos law firms to fight for them.

My Phone

My phone is missing again. I know it’s just here somewhere in the house but the question is, where? I know, I’m so bad in keeping my mobile phone. I guess it just proves that I’m no longer a text addict as I used to be. My Hubby has been telling me that maybe, the only time I can keep my phone with me is when I already have an iPhone. LOL! For the record, I have the cheapest LG phone in town. It only contains the basic features but at least it has colored monitor and a FLASHLIGHT! Hahaha!

Anyways, with Facebook, Skype and the internet, I seldom have the need to use my phone since most of the people I want to contact are just a click away. There’s Skype and other sites that offer cheap conferencing and Yahoo messenger with video calls and chat too. So, if you want to contact me, don’t bother calling me on my phone but you’re sure to catch me online.

Bata Shoe Sale

There’s an ongoing Bata Shoe Sale that’s taking place in Big C Extra, Hat Yai right now. They’re offering 30-70% discounts on most of their items. We’ve just been there last night and I was able to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter and HUbby. My daughter’s shoes only cost 150 Baht while my Hubby’s sport shoes cost 300 Baht! Unbelievable huh? It’s just too bad there aren’t many pairs left for the ladies. I guess the ladies were quicker to buy and therefore finished all their stocks. :)
