Not A Shopaholic

We have an electric keyboard that has been lying around unused for a few years now. This was our Christmas gift for our daughter when she was smaller. She was interested with the instrument that time, but somehow her interest has waned down. Now, I’m contemplating whether to sell it. But on the other hand, maybe I will try to expose her and her brother again with this instrument and then make a decision. I know my son is interested with a a few musical instruments but it’ll be too early to get him a b.c. rich electric bass  or a drum set. So, maybe I’ll just have to wait for them to grow up a little bit then.

Terminal 21 is now my favorite mall. We’ve only been there once last week during our trip to Bangkok, but I just love my experience in being there. Since I’m not a shopaholic, it’s not the shopping  that I love there.. nope, they don’t have cheap bargains and for the record, I didn’t even buy anything there. We only had lunch at Pier 21 and watched a movie at the 5th floor.  But you know what I love most at Terminal 21? It’s their interior concept.. yeah, they’ve designed their mall with the concept of ‘travel’. So every floor ‘takes’ you to a different country and they’ve been quite consistent and successful with that.

Anyways, if ever we go back to Bangkok again, I would love to visit Terminal 21 again. Maybe linger a bit more, try the other restaurants, watch a movie… and do a little bit of shopping perhaps?

 HomePro is having another ‘Shock Price’ this week. Since we often visit this shop, we usually don’t get ‘shock’ anymore when they have a shock sale since most of the things on sale are either still too expensive for us, or it’s something we don’t need. But when my Hubby went to HomePro today with our brother-in-law, it did seem our BIL had a ‘shock’ with the price. He found the products at HomePro much much cheaper than that of Malaysia. He said that in many items, he sees more than 50% price difference with that of Malaysia.

So, I guess they’re going back there tomorrow to buy a few things. Our BIL is actually a handyman, so I guess he will be buying some lighting fixtures, tools or maybe stuff like eye bolts and screws.  HomePro’s  ‘Shock Price’ must really be cheap after all.
