Not A Shopaholic

Tne 24 hour Summer Solstice Sale from Book Depository has just passed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy any of their bargain books because they were not just my type. I would love them to have a few cookbooks, self-help books  or children’s books on sale. Last year, I was able to buy an Usborne Drawing Pack Book for a very cheap price. But anyways, it’s almost time for us to order our homeschool books so, we won’t have much need for books for a few months.

I just saw the big chunk of land where the upcoming Central Mall in Hat Yai ( along Kanjanawanit Road) is going to be built. The space looks so big and I can’t help but wonder when they will be able to finish this project. I know, it’s quite obvious that I’m excited, they’ve barely started yet and I’m already wondering when they can finish the mall.

I just love going out to the malls. There are not much malls around here in Hat Yai and so, we always end up going to our ‘neighbor’ Big C Extra. I’m sure the upcoming Central Mall will have a lot more to offer from  companies offering no medical term life insurance to a variety of fastfood chains and restaurants.

The bargain book that we ordered from Book Depository has arrived last Saturday. My daughter was so thankful of her gift and she immediately started reading it. And halfway through it, she disappeared and said something she has to start writing …

So, it must be a very good book then if it nudged my daughter to write something even halfway through the book..

I love Book Depository,… I love the fact that they don’t charge any fee for shipping..so, when they have some bargains, I never fail to check if there will be any books for me or my kids..
